Dunce Cap

In schools around the country a while back, the teachers used to have something called the "Dunce Cap". If the student misbehaved or forgot to do their homework, he was made to sit in the corner with the cap on his head. This was a terrible punishment and reserved for just the worst infractions.
But today, we have reserved the "Dunce Cap" for the teacher. I've watched their poor performance for years but today, I've reached the end of the line. Now the teachers want to quit teaching the children to write. So along with the fact that they graduate with very little knowledge of their world, now they won't be able to write.
And too, to add insult to injury, the teachers want more pay for doing less.
So teacher....... go sit in the corner and put on the "Dunce Cap". I'll tell you when you can rejoin society.
Stop in once in a while. I'll try to write something new and informative about my book Brothers by Fire. You can find the EBook Kindle edition of this book, "Brothers by Fire" at Amazon.com and at www.peaceriverbooks.com. The Peace River Books blog is updated each day.
Good Reading,
Ron
