Television

  
  Of all the things I've seen during this long life, television has impacted our world much more than any other thing. We went from a time when children went outside to play after school to seeing a neighborhood devoid of kids.
   Today, we see people commit crimes that just can't be explained. Some walk into a crowd and start killing anyone they can. Some kidnap and murder children. Some take over ships on the high seas and murder the entire crew.
   But what makes these perverted murderers think they can do this without penalty. I think it has a lot to do with the video games they grew up on. During their lives, they've killed many hundreds of people, during their play time. The progression to killing for real isn't a stretch of the imagination for some. These are the ones we look at in horror and say "How could they do that?".
   So turn off the video games and televisions and send your kids outside where the air is clean and imaginations are allowed to run free. You and your kids will benefit greatly.
