Here in Northern Minnesota there's a place called Hay Creek, where the scenery is about as pretty as anywhere else on earth. The water moves slowly, mostly because of all the beaver dams. Wildlife is abundant with many beaver, otter and muskrat.
The banks of the Hay Creek are boggy and wild rice grows in large areas.
If you love to fish, this is the place to be. Walleyes and Northerns inhabit this part of the creek in large numbers. On a clear calm day, you can see great schools of large fish cruising through the reeds and grasses, looking for a meal. What a place!
You can find the EBook Kindle edition of this book, "Brothers by Fire" at Amazon.com and at www.peaceriverbooks.com. The Peace River Books blog is updated each day.
Stop in once in a while. I'll try to write something new and informative about my book Brothers by Fire.
